Description of Internship Opportunity |
The Bribir Archaeological Project formally open the archaeological volunteer recruitment for the season 2017. The project’s team comprises every year between 12 and 15 undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate students, recruited from Macquarie University, the Norwegian School of Theology and the University of Zagreb. The Bribir excavation functions as a field school, with students being trained by the senior members of the team in excavation methods and techniques, archaeological drawing, topography, geophysical surveying techniques, cataloguing, basic conservation methods, photogrammetry, architectural reconstruction, sampling techniques, use of specific software, etc. Dates: 17th of April – 7th of May 2017 (3 weeks) For more information about the site and it's history please visit the Bribir Archaeological Project website or visit the Bribir Archaeology Group Facebook page. |
