Gandhi Creations - Marketing Internship

An exciting opportunity exists for a well-organised and motivated student to assist with a range of marketing activities to secure new event leads while coordinating existing client relationships and stakeholder expectations for events. Projects you will be directly involved in include the Multicultural Arts Festival, Multicultural Fashions of Australia, Awards projects and Cultural Diversity days.

Tasks will include:

• Writing and reviewing content for tenders and grants
• Assisting with marketing content and monthly newsletter
• Developing marketing activities for events using digital and social media platforms
• Updating and maintaining website and social media channels
• Conducting internet market research and maintaining stakeholder database
• Telemarketing and assisting with ongoing LinkedIn contact research
• Assisting with event logistics and managing and liaising with key stakeholders

• Be studying Marketing as part of their degree
• Have a theoretical knowledge of marketing principles
• Have experience in using digital and social media platforms
• Have strong administrative and organisational skills
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Have strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity for the South East Asian community
• Have a strong eye for detail and be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
• Have good Microsoft Office skills. Experience using Adobe and Wordpress desirable
• Have impeccable presentation, a can do attitude and demonstrate initiative
