Description of Internship Opportunity

Old Government House at Parramatta operates as a historic property and museum; with the largest collection of colonial furniture and design in Australia.

We have a range of collection documentation needs including establishing object files, developing a hard copy database, developing a collection management manual as well as general museum operational needs. 

Any particular fields of study or skills?
  • Good computer skills
  • Understanding or interest in museum documentation systems
  • Awareness of museum handling
  • Preventive conservation protocols
