Communications / Marketing  Intern for National Tree Day Campaign    

Planet Ark is one of Australia’s leading environmental behaviour change organisations, with a focus on promoting positive environmental actions.   We run major community engagement environmental campaigns throughout the year, including National Tree Day in July.   Located in Circular Quay, we offer a friendly environment, flexibility and the chance to work on high-profile environmental campaigns.   This internship is a great learning opportunity for hands-on experience across a range of tasks in a small but busy and collaborative office. 

Tasks include:

• Writing marketing communications such as recruitment emails, news stories for the web and social media posts
• Working with designers, photographers and printers
• Campaign logistics
•  Assisting with outreach initiatives

This role is for you if you:

• Have good written and oral communication skills
• Are willing to learn with a can-do attitude
• Are a good team player
• Can self-motivate and take the initiative

This position commences in early May and ends in early August and would be on a part-time basis.
