The Graduate Diploma in Philosophy is a degree especially designed for those who already have an undergraduate degree in any field of study who wish to undertake a short, intensive program of study in philosophy, for their own personal interest, to enhance and update their professional skills and expertise, or as a means of acquiring the philosophical background necessary for pursuing further postgraduate work in philosophy. Students who have undertaken the Graduate Diploma in Philosophy in recent years have had undergraduate degrees in areas as diverse as business, engineering, tourism, commerce, accounting, economics, statistics and psychology.

Minimum Course Requirements:
  1. To qualify for the Graduate Diploma in Philosophy a candidate must obtain an aggregate of at least 24 credit points at 200 level or above in Philosophy units with the code PHIL including not less than 12 credit points at 300 level.
